Medication Guidelines

To All Ninety Six Parents,
I want to welcome back all students from last year and those who are new to our school.
I felt that it would be good to go over some of the basic rules that I must follow.
If you want your child to take medications at school, you MUST fill out a Medication Form and bring the medication with the form at the same time.  It is important that you fill out the entire form so that we have all of the necessary information.  This includes ANY medication including Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Tums, etc.
1) We can't give ANY medication without a form signed by a parent or guardian and your physician.  I know this can be an inconvenience to you, so if you would like to go ahead and get a form to have your physician sign it, just pick one up at the school.
2) If you need to bring in any medication, I will be here everyday at 7:45am until 3:15pm.
3) Please remember to bring in medications, such as inhalers, that may be needed in an emergency.  When a child has trouble breathing from Asthma, they need their inhaler at that time.  Please do not wait until we need that medication!
Please do not hesitate to call or email me if you have any questions or if there is anything that you need.  I look forward to taking care of your precious children while they are at school.
