Welcome to Ninety Six Elementary School! I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you in order to best meet your child's needs. The 2022-2023 school year will be my 4th year at NSES. The 96 community has become such an integral part of my life. There is no better place to be than in 96! Here at NSES, I serve as the Academic Support Teacher for Grades 3, 4, and 5. I provide support to students who require additional support in Reading, Writing, and Math. This is truly my passion!
I graduated from Lander University in 2005 with my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. I have also completed 30+ hours towards my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Clemson University. Before teaching in Ninety Six, I taught in Anderson District 4. In addition to my Special Education licensing, I am also certified in Early Childhood Education.
I have been blessed to be married to an amazing man, Brian. I also have two grown children, Jessica and Tyler, and two grandsons, Liam (8) and Cal (2). Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My favorite activity is playing golf with my husband and son. My family loves to gather in the fall to watch college football. We are avid Clemson and Notre Dame fans! During the Spring, my husband and I love attending our grandson's baseball games and football games in the Fall.
I am looking forward to kicking off the 2022-2023 school year.
