My name is Alison Barnes. This is my 13th year teaching (all at NSES). I am a Ninety Six native, and I'm blessed to teach the future of our amazing community. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Lander University (Dec. 2013), a Master’s degree in Reading from Grand Canyon University (2018), and a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Lander University (2024). For the 2021-2022 school year, I was honored to represent Greenwood School District 52 as the District Teacher of the Year.
