Annual Food Drive Starts Monday, Nov. 14th

Our Battle of the Wildcats Annual Food Drive to support the 96 Food Bank begins Monday, Nov. 14th. Please help us out-give the other schools in our district! This is HUGE outreach to our community, and we want to show our generosity. Join us by sending in items all next week to help us win The Battle of the Wildcats Food Drive!

eLearning Day, Friday, Nov. 11

Due to the possibility of severe weather in our area tomorrow, Greenwood School District 52 will have an eLearning Day on Friday, November 11th.

Red Ribbon Week Program

As part of our Red Ribbon Week Celebration, students at Ninety Six Elementary School attended an educational program by Betsy Royal from Cornerstone Cares as well as a demonstration from Officer Bearden and K9 Maxi from the Greenwood City Police Department. Everyone enjoyed watching K9 Maxi in action.

National Theatre for Children Presents Program

Our students enjoyed a program from the National Theatre for Children on Friday. The program was sponsored by Duke Energy and the students learned about renewable and nonrenewable resources and conserving energy. Teachers will be sending home information for families to request an energy conservation kit from Duke Energy.

Digital Citizenship Week

Students will be participating in Digital Citizenship Week from October 17-21. This months focus will be Cyberbullying.

New Flag Bearers for 2022-23 the School Year

Congratulations to our flag bearers for the 2022-23 school year. They will be responsible for raising, lowering, and folding the flag each day. Also, we would like to thank Mr. Rick Turner, Assistant Cubmaster, Pack 96, for showing these students proper flag folding and etiquette.
