Brittney Chambers from Beyond Abuse in Greenwood spoke to our students about being safe through her presentation "My Body is Mine".

Congratulations to our flag bearers for the 2023-24 school year. These students will be responsible for raising, lowering, and folding our flags daily. We would also like to thank Mr. Barksdale from the Boy Scouts who spent time this week training our students in proper flag folding and etiquette.

Our Grandparents' Day Drop-In is scheduled for Monday, September 11, 2023. Grandparents can visit their grandchild's classroom on Monday from 4:15 to 5:15 pm. Hope to see you there!

Fourth graders at Ninety Six Elementary School learned about mass, weight, and gravity this week in science as they completed several different investigations.

The Fourth Grade Field Trip to Ninety Six National Historic Site was fun and educational. The students learned about life in the 18th century and about the battles at Star Fort during the American Revolution.

Parents got a chance to see the amazing art work our students have created this year in art class with Mrs. Vanessa Taylor.

Third graders in Mrs. Wells class are hard at work researching a famous African American for a project during Black History Month.
