Twenty-seven students qualified to attend Ninety Six Elementary School's Voting Party on February 3rd to vote for their favorite book on the SC Book Award list for 2022-2023.

The reward for meeting the second quarter reading goal was a "Glow Party".

The Columbia Marionette Theatre presented a program to our students called "Litter Trashes Everyone".

As part of our Red Ribbon Week Celebration, students at Ninety Six Elementary School attended an educational program by Betsy Royal from Cornerstone Cares as well as a demonstration from Officer Bearden and K9 Maxi from the Greenwood City Police Department. Everyone enjoyed watching K9 Maxi in action.

Congratulations to Ninety Six Elementary School teachers for being recognized as having outstanding state test scores.

Our students enjoyed a program from the National Theatre for Children on Friday. The program was sponsored by Duke Energy and the students learned about renewable and nonrenewable resources and conserving energy. Teachers will be sending home information for families to request an energy conservation kit from Duke Energy.

Congratulations to our flag bearers for the 2022-23 school year. They will be responsible for raising, lowering, and folding the flag each day. Also, we would like to thank Mr. Rick Turner, Assistant Cubmaster, Pack 96, for showing these students proper flag folding and etiquette.
