Welcome to 5th Grade! I am Michelle Rowell, and I will be your ELA and Social Studies teacher this year.  I am a graduate of Lander University where I received a B. S. Degree and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.  As I begin my 38th year of teaching, and my 28th year at Ninety Six Elementary School, I am excited about getting to know each one of you and supporting you as you prepare to transition to the middle school next year.  In addition to teaching ELA and Social Studies, I also assist Mrs. Still with Honors Chorus, so I hope to see some of you participating in that program. 

    Our school theme this year is “Radiate Excellence.” As we work together, I look forward to seeing you radiate excellence in academics, as well as in your interactions with others.  L I am so glad that you are a part of our class!  You are the reason that I am here, so please do not hesitate to come to me whenever you need help.  We are going to have a wonderful year!
